Izuma Cloud is our Edge-as-a-Service and IoT Device Management platform. It enables the development of edge systems, scaling from remote cloud instances and larger servers, down to to device edge or “far” edge systems or IoT devices. Read more on our Edge-as-a-Service solution.
Izuma Cloud: Covering the entire edge spectrum Izuma Cloud along with the open-source stacks, Izuma Edge and Izuma Connect - provide a solution that covers the entire spectrum of edge, as defined by Gartner and other industry analysts.
Izuma Connect is a proven ANSI-C library that can drop into most microcontroller RTOS or bare metal builds. Izuma Connect provides secure connectivity to any Izuma Cloud instance for microcontroller-based or other ultra-lightweight embedded devices.
Izuma Connect in a nutshell:
Open source ANSI-C code. Deploys on almost any microcontroller. Silicone and cloud platform independent. Can co-exist with services you already may want to use. Provides secure identity and bootstrapping to a specific cloud instance on first boot.
Izuma Edge is a first class solution for edge application orchestration and remote management of edge machines. It is the component running on a machine or device, when using our Edge-as-a-Service offering.
Izuma Edge in a nutshell.
Deploy containerized applications Manage using industry standard k8s APIs Robust systems management Root of Trust security support Open source Apache 2.0 runtime x86 or Arm SD-WAN connectivity with firewall traversal Runs on almost any Linux variation Designed by the needs of our customers, Izuma Edge is a purpose built software stack, completely open-source, which allows customers to securely deploy and manage applications at the edge using the industry standard application orchestration method: Docker + Kubernetes.
Izuma Factory Flow tooling allows you to deploy either Izuma Edge or Izuma Connect at your contract manufacturer (CM) with minimal overhead. Factory Flow tooling is included with any production-grade Izuma Cloud deployment.
Let’s look at the entire process of deploying a large-scale edge solution.
From Factory to Deployment At the CM factory, or during a post-factory step, Izuma Factory Flow tools are used to install Izuma Edge or Izuma Connect on each device.
